Lemon Drop Martini with Sorbet (A Fun Twist on a Classic)

A zesty twist on the classic lemon drop, featuring premium vodka, citrusy flavor, and finished with a luscious scoop of lemon sorbet that melts into a velvety, ice-cold delight.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka (I use Belvedere)
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for the rim)
  • lemon sorbet

Instructions

  • Run a lemon wedge along the rim of your martini glass to moisten it.
  • Pour sugar onto a small plate, then dip and gently twist the rim of the glass in the sugar until evenly coated. Set aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add vodka, triple sec, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10–20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into your prepared sugar-rimmed martini glass.
  • Top with a small scoop of lemon sorbet for a refreshing twist, and serve immediately.
