Ground Turkey Rice Bowl

This ground turkey rice bowl is a healthy, protein-packed dinner that's full of bold flavor and comes together in just 30 minutes. Made with lean ground turkey, broccoli, a sweet and spicy homemade sauce, and served over fluffy jasmine rice, it's the perfect easy weeknight meal or meal prep recipe.

Ingredients

Turkey and Broccoli

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Sauce

  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

For Serving

  • Cooked Jasmine Rice
  • Sliced Green Onions

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the broccoli and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp.
  • Season with ½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
  • Transfer the broccoli to a plate and set aside.
  • Add the ground turkey to the same skillet and cook over medium heat, breaking it apart as it browns.
  • Once fully cooked, season with the garlic powder, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
  • While the turkey cooks, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, honey, sriracha, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  • Pour the sauce into the cooked turkey.
  • Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce slightly thickens.
  • Return the broccoli to the skillet and toss everything together until evenly coated.
  • Serve the turkey and broccoli over warm jasmine rice.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and enjoy!
