Introduction

After going to Walt Disney World for the past 13 years with my now husband—and now with our two little girls (ages 2 and 3)—I’ve learned that packing can truly make or break your trip.

Traveling to Disney with toddlers is magical, but it also requires a little extra planning. Over the years, I’ve figured out exactly what we actually use (and what we don’t), so you’re not overpacking or forgetting something important.

This is my go-to Disney World packing list for a smooth, stress-free, and fun-filled vacation with little ones.

Quick Summary

This Disney World packing list covers everything you need for traveling with toddlers, including pool essentials, park outfits, sleep must-haves, snacks, and all the little extras that make a big difference. Perfect for families visiting Disney with young kids!

  • Focuses on comfort + convenience
  • Helps avoid expensive last-minute purchases in the parks

  • 3 pairs of shoes:
    • Tennis shoes
    • Rubber sandals (pool)
    • Nice sandals (for dinners)

  • Pajamas (1 per night)
  • A couple extra comfy outfits
  • Hair ties and bows
  • Underwear (2 per day)
  • Socks (one pair per day)

Sleep Essentials

  • Bed bumpers (Disney does have some that you can request if you would rather do that)
  • Baby monitor + charger (We only use this for when we sit on the balcony)
  • Sound machine
  • Favorite stuffed animals
  • Diapers/pull-ups/wipes
  • Disposable diaper trash bags (if you have a little one still in diapers)
  • Pack n’ play + sheet + sleep sack (if needed, you can also request one from /Disney if you don’t want to bring yours)
  • Pacifiers (if your child still uses them)
  • Book (Disney has bedtime stories that play on the TV at night, but if a book is in your bedtime routine then it’s better to just bring one!)

Bath & Toiletries (Kids)

  • Disney provides shampoo/conditioner/body wash BUT bring your own if your child has sensitive skin

Kids Bathroom Bag

  • Stroller sign (or something to identify it quickly)

  • Magic Bands (for the 3 year old and up)
  • Stroller fans (2 + chargers)
  • Portable charger (a must for park days!)
  • Minnie ears
  • Jackets (weather dependent)

  • Tablets with charger (+ headphones if your child uses those)

Must-Haves for Restaurants

  • Stickers
  • Grab-and-go play dough
  • Disposable/plastic placemats
  • Small coloring or activity books (Target Dollar Section)

Snacks to Pack

This is a list of snacks that I usually bring because these are things I know my kids will eat. Bring whatever you know your child likes and eats at home!

  • Made Good cookies
  • Z-Bars
  • Welch’s gummies
  • Goldfish
  • Mini muffins (quick and easy breakfast for those early risers)
  • Fresh fruit (bananas, oranges, apples)
  • Lollipops (you never know when you might need one to prevent a meltdown)
  • Case of water bottles (trust me, you’ll want a whole case for any trip longer than 3 days)
  • Water cups (we love Zak cups for kids)

Rain Gear (A MUST in Florida)

Florida weather is unpredictable—especially in Orlando!

  • Rain jackets
  • Ponchos
  • Stroller rain cover

Tips for Packing for Disney with Toddlers

  • Pack outfits by day to make mornings easier
  • Bring more snacks than you think you need
  • Don’t skip the stroller fan—it’s a lifesaver
  • Keep a small essentials bag for the parks

Final Thoughts

Packing for Disney World with toddlers doesn’t have to be overwhelming. With a little planning and the right essentials, your trip can be smooth, fun, and full of magical moments.

This list has been tested over the past few years with two little ones at Disney World—so you can feel confident you’re bringing exactly what you need (and nothing you don’t).
